Win 7 SP1 and your cracked copy of Win 7…

Win 7 SP1 and your cracked copy of Win 7…

So I’ve already started receiving emails from concerned pirates out there about whether or not to download and install the latest SP1 for Win7 which if I am correct, dropped on the 22n….errr today. I’m going to jump the gun before even I install it on my singular PC system, and say that I would believe it to be quiet safe. Microsoft has learned in the last few years that even upsetting users of Windows who didn’t pay for a copy, isn’t a good idea.

Sure there may always be a small intrusive little star that pops up and reminds you that your copy is in fact not genuine, but there are ways for you to remove them.

Sometime this weekend amidst all my work I will attempt to test this with a legitimate copy, as well as a bunk retail copy. I really hope that there were fixes to dropping connections when connecting to windows via SMB, and I’m crossing my fingers, though unlikely for a lost cause, and am hoping that there is major fixes to Optical Audio device handling, because right now it’s shitty at best.

For those of you that have installed SP1 for Win 7, if your having problems let everyone else know. Since I linked my facebook to my blog I noticed a lot of you post comments there instead of here, so lets try to keep the comments on the blog :)

UPDATE: Installing SP1 went very well, not hiccups or issues, and no problems with annoying “Not genuine” popups for a “non-official” version of Windows 7 on a test system. Depending on how you obtained your copy of Win7 and how/if you cracked it, your results may vary. I know that Daz’s and Hazar loaders do a pretty damn good job at retaining the copy of Windows as “legit” so if that’s how you cracked it, you should be fine. There are several versions floating around the torrent sites that come pre-cracked and I can’t confirm or deny that those will have the same results, but I think we would all like to hear if anyone is having problems (or if your not).

Cheers,

David

UPDATE: A full two days later and I was greeted by the “This copy of Windows is not Genuine” on the bottom right hand side of my screens. If your a Win7 ULTIMATE user, then simply download THIS , double click and run, the program will auto reboot you, and you should be good to go. For Win7 users that are NOT running Ultimate, Try downloading older Hazar or Daz loaders and re-applying the crack. As always if your having problems drop me a comment and I’ll walk you through it, but the final verdict is Yes, it is safe to download and install SP1., you may just have to simply re-apply the crack, which is easy.

What happens when microsoft calls you directly from your home and tells you that your windows has expired. I told them to call back next week, but I have no idea what to do, this is scary!

Hello my name is Christopher and even though this is an awesome article w/ thread, I still can’t get my version on Windows to work. I have Win7 Ultimate btw. The problem is, every time I boot win7 normally, I get a black screen with no taskbar, icons, keyboard shortcuts don’t work, nothing. I can only get into safe mode, but none of the suggested cracking programs work. What gives and how can I fix this issue?

      Hi Christopher, welcome to failedexe,
The problem your describing does not sound like its related to windows genuine authentication but rather a bad/broken install of windows. If you don’t see a taskbar at all, no icons etc that tells me that explorer.exe is not running or operating correctly, at this point from where I’m sitting a low level repair/reinstall would be the best bet.

I bought my computer from a friend and he failed to tell me that he “modified” 7 because the computer was meant to run vista? I guess he made 7 run with vista drivers. I didn’t realize that I needed to keep updates off. Anyway I started downloading updates and now it says it’s not genuine. Is this that right fix. I’m not savy with codes and cracks. It has ultimate. I tried the link you had for ultimate but it the link was broken I think.

Ah yes I’ve had this situation come across from my friends and family many many times! The link for the ultimate crack pack is actually down since the megaupload.com takedown fiasco, I’m sure it will be back up within a matter of time, in the meantime, you can download the Daz Loader from HERE, just download and run as administrator, it’s really simple, reboot and check your system properties (the screen where it states your windows authentication status, which is also the same screen where you can see your windows rating) and you should be good to go, if not, then let me know :)

After running the WAT removal tool, you should run a loader, preferably the DAZ loader or the HAZAR loader , click the names of the loaders for links :) and come back and let me know if you have any further windows authentication issues.

You have to disable any antivirus and Microsoft security essentials. Since they all frown against piracy they instill virus definitions to block the loaders from working as intended.

Hey man whats up. I came across your page and thought you might be able to help me. I installed windows 7 ultimate 64bit on a computer i just built. i installed all updates and got the build is not genuine junk so i ran removewat. that solved my problem for a couple days until it came back again. so i restored the wat then removed it again. and i had to repeat this cycle for a couple weeks. Then i came across Hal 7600. I ran it i think after i removed the wat. and it worked flawlessly. I went to my computers properties and it said genuine and gave me a product key and id. I was amazed that it actually did that. But as 0f a couple days ago my computer crashed and i had to reinstall my OS and i cant get removewat or HAL to work properly. The removewat didnt remove the wat. I did it probably 3 times with no success. Then i tried the hal activator and it worked but when i go to computer and properties it doesnt say activated and when i click on control panel i get the windows is not genuine BS. Can you pleasee helppp meee. I installed windows 7 ultimate with a legit copy of windows 7 with an old product key. Then installed all updates including SP1

Ok there are a lot of approaches to a situation like yours, since you already installed SP1 you may have installed one of the windows KB updates that checks for authentication cracks, you’ll have to uninstall them, since I’m on the road at the moment I couldn’t pull up the two KB updates I’m referring to.

Secondly while HAL is decent and can definitely do the trick most of the time, I always prefer using a loader , so download and install/ activate the Daz or Hazar loader, reboot and come back and let me know if your registering as genuine windows 7 ;) if not well try some other methods

Thanks for you fast comment. I got my windows to say its genuine by disabling avg internet security 2012 from the startup and all its features. I think that was disabling it. I also did update everything besides the language packs so I had the 2 windows activation updates downloaded. Im new to doing this I have a copy of win7 with the removewat preinstalled so I never had to do this. But can you give me some advice on what programs to use like the links to the daz or loaded you were talking about and how to go about running and updating everything so I do it right the first time. Another question is my windows going to be genuine forever? Like is it a legit copy that can’t be deactivated? Thanks in advanced your a great help!

Ah yes, never have antivirus running when you install any crack, they always think that the cracks are “malware” or “viruses” because they are attempting to modify sensitive system files. I’m glad it worked out!

To answer your question though, no there is no 100% safeguard that it will remain genuine “forever”….however feel comfortable that there will always be a way to circumvent the authentication process.

I downloaded the currently second most seeded windows 7 torrent on bt junkie titled “32 bit (auto activation) – cracked.”

Installed and been working flawlessly without update kb971033. Some people have reported that as long as you avoid this update, you can dl sp1 WITHOUT any kind of daz/hazar loader and no problems. Can you confirm this? I’d like to avoid dl’ing the loader if I don’t have too!

Hi Adam, thanks for stopping by! I am not familiar with that torrent but I can say that most of the copies of Windows Vista – Windows 7 that are floating around on the torrent websites are pre-cracked and usually with one of either Daz’s or Hazar loaders, so I would say that “Yes” it should be safe to update to SP1 without any hitches. The other thing to remember is that even if in the case where it becomes “Not Genuine” after the update, you can always install the loader at that point and re-crack it, or alternatively uninstall (rollback) from SP1. Either way you should be good to go.

      Cheers!

Well Adam I’d say that it really depends on the user ultimately. If your a power user and are active on the web, then that most likely means you have important or sensitive data on your computer and by updating your greatly increasing your security *as well* as your OS stability.

For gamers it would also be appealing since there are direct x updates and updates to the .net framework, and performance updates.

It wouldn’t be necessary for someone who is going to do light online browsing (no porn) and plays Diablo… the original.

So I would definitely upgrade to SP1 lol.

Ahhh agreed agreed lol. Without wasting too much of your precious time, the problem I’m facing is that the sp1 update kb976932 is not on either list when I click “check for updates.” I have dl the necessary pre-requisite updates you need, but its still not there. I would’ve dl it straight from the microsoft website but it forced me to dl this windows genuine tool first in order for the dl to proceed, and clearly that is a bad option for a pirated windows.

Is there anyway I can get this update straight up without me dl any loaders, and where can I get it. So strange that its not in my windows update list!!?? grrr.

I promise that I won’t bother you again. At least not for awhile ;)

this is a very difficult question, and I completely understand if your lost for words.

Heyy i was browsing on the internet and came across your excellent blog. However my question is this, If i got the iso copy of Windows Home Premium and use the product key on the underside of my laptop will it work even though i upgraded to a pirated copy of Ultimate, I am really uneasy about downloading SP1 as it may cause adverse effects.

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work on this blog :)

Well first thank you for stopping by and commenting!

If you used your windows home premium serial from the bottom of your laptop to attempt to authenticate a copy of windows ultimate sadly… It would not work. You can however download a “loader” or crack and it will bypass the windows authentication and “trick” the operating system into thinking it is a legitimate copy, allowing you to update to SP1 without any problems. I tend to notice that many people choose not to update to SP1 but I highly recommend upgrading for the performance and safety issues addressed in SP1

oh ok so ive already installed a loader from installation, i believe it was daz. should i be set to go?

Conversely could i install a fresh install of Home Premium and use the product key on the laptop, would that be successful?

Hello ! I just found your blog, and I tried your solution for Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x 64 bits. I launched the program. It stated that the service was already running. My laptop restarted, but my windows was still not genuine. Do I need to launch it as an Admin ? Do I need to extract it ? Thanks a lot for the info!

Yes you should always run it as admin, also in rare occasions once you run the crack and it restarts you must go into system properties and it will reset the scan for authentication causing it to (finally) show genuine

Hi, Last year some guy messed around on my brand new computer with an original copy of Windows 7. He Installed a copy of Windows Ultimate for some reason, and ever since then I’ve been getting those annoying “not genuine messages!” I tried your .exe file it restarted but nothing happened. ALSO…I don’t really understand what you mean by “run it as admin”! and what does “run the crack and it restarts you must go into system properties and it will reset the scan for authentication causing it to (finally) show genuine” … please help! need a step by step or beginners guide!!

          Which loader did you install?

If you installed a loader (or “crack”) and restarted and it still shows “not genuine” on the bottom right of your desktop screen, you may have already installed a Microsoft KB update that specifically looks for the loader/crack, hence why it would be ineffective.

However you may also want to attempt to have windows rescan your computer for authentication after you install the loader/ crack , you do this by RIGHT clicking on “My computer” and selecting “PROPERTIES”, which will open up the screen system properties, scroll to the bottom (below where it gives you your system performance rating) and it will automatically scan whether windows is genuine or not, wait a few seconds and see if it returns a “not genuine” , if it does then we know something didn’t work as it should have, if it DID work, well… Your good to go :)

            Thanks for your quick reply!
It’s still saying it’s not genuine. Yeah, I think your explanation as to why it may not be effective could be true… What I did exactly was…In an attempt to remove the:

            “windows 7
            Build 7601
This copy of windows is not genuine”

I followed your advice and downloaded Windows.7.Activator-HAZAR

I installed the .exe file and it restarted, but nothing happened.

I’m using a “non genuine” copy of Windows 7 Ultimate at the moment

Do I need to upgrade/download something??

Hi Logan, when you say updates, do you mean *only* windows updates? I would check to see what is loading up on login, Goto START-RUN- then type msconfig, under startup see how many items are checked and if you want shoot me a screenshot of it.

Try disabling avast, it’s possible it’s attempting to run a “first install” scan, SKIDROW releases are quality and trustworthy so I couldn’t deduct that it’s a problem with it, however I haven’t used that copy.

Also you could hit CNTRL+ALT+DEL upon start and select Task Manager, when it’s lagging and see what service is taking up all your resources.

I always preferred ESET NOD32 for antivirus, it has a very small resource footprint and works as well as any other, although honestly I haven’t ran antivirus on any of my computers since 2004, I just don’t think there necessary with safe browsing habits, and on my macs, well we don’t need em lol. I’m glad I could help though :)

You have two options, you could edit your boot.ini file manually, or alternatively you could download EasyBCD (its free) and it has the ability to easily clear/clean up your boot options. :)

The best way is to install the (any by Daz or Hazar) loader before you install SP1, then install the loader again right after install. :)

Hey! I recently installed windows 7 SP1, and ever since, it seems to ruin my Skype. I can log into it still, but every time i make a call, the duration only lasts for 3-6 seconds. I tried video call, doesn’t even start. The one thing i did yesterday was go to my previous versions of Skype, opened it from there, and it worked just like normal. I tried doing that again though, and the second time the previous version wasn’t there anymore and It stopped working again. So what should I do to fix this? x:

Well I went back and deleted my “shared.xml” file like it said. Still didn’t work.
What I did this time was uninstalled Skype, and reinstalled again, like you said… Only I checked off compatibility mode and administrator, then i went to previous versions of Skype listed, and a previous version was there again. It worked. I’m gonna try the new Skype windows beta 5.7 and hope for the best tomorrow. Thanks again for replying and helping as much as you could. (:

I just downloaded the SP1 crack and ran it. The first time an error popped up that said there was nothing in the disc tray, then it rebooted my computer. I checked my system properties and it didn’t show SP1 as being installed, even though there was some extra stuff going on at the beginning of the boot. I tried to run it again as an admin, and it gave no error message and rebooted my computer and gave me the same extra business at the beginning of the boot (went too fast to see what it was). But it still won’t show up as being installed and the game I want to play which requires SP1 won’t recognize it being there. What’s the deal? I have a dual boot system (Win7Ultimate and WinXPsp3). I tried to use Daz’s loader but it won’t let me do anything and it says that my system is modified and to uninstall cracks, but I can’t figure out how to do that. Help!

On dual boot systems on the loader you have to go into the advanced options and select (or deselect) default boot directory (or default boot location), but as far as SP1 not installing correctly that could be due to several reasons, I’d focus on getting sp1 in correctly before focusing on cracking it

Do you have a dual boot system? If you press F8 while your computer is booting, a screen will pop up with selections, select “my last settings that worked” (or something to that affect).

After using the windows loader on a dell laptop I encountered a similar problem.
The problem was the windows loader version I used. So after reinstalling the OS again I then used the ‘Windows 7 Loader eXtreme Edition v3.503′ which I found on Google and it worked fine.
Note: After this problem I also had problems reinstalling the OS, since I was using a flash drive, so if you want more help with that or the exact link of the new loader or how to use it,..say.

I would just ignore the crack it came with and use a loader, without seeing what exactly the file/s are, it’s hard to say how to install it.

    Hi,

I’ve installed Win7 ultimate x86 within the last couple of days. It came pre-cracked as I didn’t have to load any patch to it. Any updates on whether or not it would be safe to update SP1?
Also, how do you find out what loader I have installed or whether or not my Win copy is considered legit? I have hidden the 1033 update and so far I’ve downloaded the 70somthing updates without issues.

    Many thanks

Hi Jorel, yes you can successfully update to SP1, even though some visitors report their copy becoming flagged as “Not genuine”, it’s a relatively easy fix to re-crack windows. When you weight the risk vs reward factor, it’s definitely smarter to update to SP1 to properly protect yourself from vulnerabilities.

Hi Adi, did you apply a loader when you eliminated the ‘not genuine notification’ ? I would apply a loader (again) , reboot and then check computer>properties again. If it says genuine, then select a new desktop background and your set :)

Did you run the loader/crack as admin? Is this a new install of win7? Was the OS upgraded from another version of windows? Is this a dual boot system?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit. I have a copy of Win 7 Ultimate Light I would like to install on a partition so I can have a dual boot option. I also have Windows Loader 2.0.1-DAZ. How do I do this? I am familiar with dual booting XP. I have only one Hard Drive. Thank you. I appreciate your willingness to help others.

I just wanted to say that Your site was very informative. Unfortunately your usual recommendations didn’t work for my windows 7 enterprise. I previously used removewat 2.5 but it didnt work any more. I go the newer version 2.6 and it worked. Thought I would share with your readers.

I do have one question though. My anti virus detected malware on there but I choose to go ahead anyway. Should I be concerned? Thank you Exempt/David

Most cracks/hacks that mess with any authentication settings in Windows are labeled as “viruses” or “malware” It’s Microsoft working with antivirus companies in order to attempt to hinder pirating or illegitimate copies. It’s commonly referred to as a “false-positive”.

        Hello again,
So now I get this message on the bottom right of my screen that says ‘this copy of windows is not genuine’.

My research on how to fix this says what you pretty much state here. Thing is, it didn’t work for me when I had the time bomb ticking away.

My question is, do I have to worry about the pop up if im ok with it? I rather not rock the boat. When I go to see the windows version, there is no more time bomb. Am i safe?

        Thanks

While you are safe and your windows will continue to work, it’ll become rather annoying pretty quickly. Your correct there is no “time-bomb” or time remaining at your current state, your essentially stuck in limbo. The loaders/ windows crack donor work properly when either traces of WGA or certain windows updates are still installed, (or sometimes on dual boot systems).

Hi Starwarsiscool, you can download the failedexe super crack pack from HERE

Or you can do a google search and download the hazar or Daz loader which will do the trick as well. When you updated to SP1, it may have installed some updates though that will attempt to prevent you from applying the loaders successfully but I haven’t heard of anything that is “permanent”.

    Ello,

was wondering whether you can help…

I saw your extremely potent and helpful guide with regards to installing Win7 and the associated loader stuff one has to go through.

Now, I’ve got a problem with Skyrim.

I’ve literally just installed another (new) Win7, because the first one gave me the following error whilst running install.exe on the Skyrim RZR1911 release:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you’re running. Check your computer’s system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

I’ve got a 15″ Macbook Pro Model A1286, Intel, unibody, the works, running Snow Leopard 10.6.7 or 8, 4GB RAM etc.

I downloaded Win7 Ultimate 64bit (as far as I was aware), torrent name:

    Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Retail(Final) x86 and x64

I installed this, installed the MacOSX original CD software/drivers for boot camp, then ran the DAZ loader, then installed the newest NVIDIA drivers, then installed Avira Antivirus whilst doing Windows Update.

Got myself Daemon Tools, loaded the iso of Skyrim up, double clicked ‘install.exe’ and got that error message.

So I thought ‘Well, maybe that torrent was full of shit and I’ll just get another version’ [Note: I checked the System Properties and they confirmed 'Authentic 64-Bit OS'.

So I downloaded this torrent, because I thought 'Well, maybe it's better if I get a scene group's release, more official, yaggeddy ya:

    Windows.7.ULTIMATE.SP1.ALL.EDITIONS.32-64.bit-MAFIAA

Burnt, installed 'Windows 7 Professional 64bit [not any of the other 8-10 options from Home, Home Premium, Ultimate, x68, x64 blablah] (formatted previous version), no loader required, System Properties check ’64-bit operating system’, installed MacOSX boot camp original software/drivers, installed newest NVIDIA, Daemon Tools, mount Skyrim iso, double-click install.exe:

    Same fucking error message.

    Now I’m thinking:

I’m on a 64bit architecture dual core Intel mac, I read somewhere I would need to be installing Win7 x64bit version NOT x68, seeing as the hardware demands it, and I get that error message when installing Skyrim.

Now Razor have been around for donkey’s years and they rarely fuck up the releases, so I doubt the install.exe is corrupt, seeing as the hundreds of comments below the torrent suggested otherwise (and that it worked).

Now I’m stuck in the shit. I’m thinking:

Do I reinstall another version of Win7 (possibly x68 – if that’ll let me), or do I ask that guy on failedexe for some help, seeing as he was so helpful in responding to all the other complete newbs with regards to the Win7 problems they had whilst installing the sumbitch. 8)

I didn’t know whether to post it in the Win7 thread/article or here, so I’m just going to do it in both.

Thanks a million for any help, I really appreciate it.

I am just now seeing the response to my comment. I was under the impression it would e-mail me when responded to since it asks for an email.

please respond to my email if that is ok as it will get to me faster KyleSaundersRI@gmail.com

I will try the RAR extraction method, but fear it won’t work as well. I uninstalled the flagged update you listed, but I have already tried the loaders from the links you have provided and nothing works. It does disappear, it does ask to restart, but upon restarting it still shows black background and the “not genuine” pop up still shows up in bottom right.

Any other ideas or fixes for this? It isn’t asking me to register or anything so it is running still, but seems to be quite slow and laggy (probably because the windows is being a bit screwy for not being genuine).

thanks for your help in advance, and please use the email I provided. I forget to check back here and was honestly under the impression I would receive an email regarding a response.

So, I just installed SP1. Still not getting a genuine error. The key is still present and all. I’ve been running this copy on my PC for a long time, and yesterday, forced it on to my boss’ computer due to the fact that Compaq sent him bad burns. Did SP1 on his before I did mine. Win7U 64. No idea how it’s cracked, since I got it a long time ago. Any specific loader I should use as a just in case? he may just reformat over top of this when compaq sends him good copies, but looking more for my personal PC so I can get rid of the updates notification.

I tend to lean towards recommending Daz’s loader, I see that a lot of people tend to try alternative methods before getting it resolved with a loader. (and it’s because more people will google “windows crack” or “win 7 keygen” which isn’t exactly what they need.) but if you have downloaded any other cracks then make sure to uninstall them just to be safe :)

This is the first time I’m hearing this, I can’t imagine why it would change it from saying x64 to x32, my only logical guess is that it was a masked version, it’s easy to change whether it says x32 or x64, but more importantly is that I think it might have corrected the file and now states what it really is. Any x32 bit version of windows only supports a max of 3~ gb of ram which is why it only displays that. Which torrent of windows did you download?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I’m not sure on the torrent I used but I have used that particular copy in the past and it has worked and the system does recognise it as a 64 bit; however this time it’s made it appear as 32 bit. Is it possible for me to ‘upgrade’ to 64 bit without loosing all the data and programs installed on my computer at the moment? and solutions greatly appreciated thanks. By the way Daz Loader has worked perfect past 5 times I’ve used it this is the first problem so no complaints otherwise.

I am trying to use this to fix my problem with windows saying it is not genuine. I have a cracked version of Win7 Ultimate that I had initially installed with 7-Loader (I believe that is the name, a friend actually did the install) but now it tells me it is not genuine. I tried installing the loader you have here in the forum link, as well as the one listed in your original post (which shows as a RAR file or something and does not just “run” like it says it will) even after uninstalling the KB you mentioned to uninstall but still no fix after reboot… is there something I need to check or uncheck in the advanced options tab? Sorry if I am such a noob haha

The rar file is basically like a “winzip” file, it’s just a compressed “folder” you can download winrar from: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

      It’s free :)

That will allow you to open the rar container.

You can use the Daz loader or the Hazar loader they both work perfectly. Just double click the file, it will have a option to install, click that and it will dissapear ( don’t panic ) then it will ask or force your computer to restart, when it does, go to START, then right click on “My Computer” and select properties, and check to see that your computer is now genuine. :)

If you need help I’ll be here,
      David

Installed W7 ultimate copy that i dl’d from a link on this page, pre loaded with wpakill. No problems loading onto a couple of laptops (pc) i already had. However, loaded it to my macbook pro (lion), with success-except for the following. I can run ms updates, but won’t let me install ms security essentials. Getting ‘copy of windows not valid’ webpage (no star on taskbar though). What gives? Any ideas? Tried running daz’ loader, but giving me a msg to uninstall ‘modifications’ to my copy of wp7. Have no idea how to do this. Please help.

Yes on dual OS systems the loaders don’t tend to work with default settings, there is an option in the loader under advanced that says something along the lines of “ignore default directories” click the check box for that and install again and you should be good :)

My comp doesn’t want to boot the installation instead just booting straight into windows. does having an un-activated copy of windows prevent you from doing this? If so, how do i get around this so i can re-install and start all again? cheers

Hi and welcome to failedexe! No a pirated copy does not prevent you from booting from the DVD/cd drive, however I have noticed that sometimes DVDs get skipped on the bootup process so the best thing to do is disable the hdd in bios and only have the DVD drive as the sole boot option, if this doesn’t work you can always pop it in windows, start the process off the DVD and it will auto reboot. I wouldn’t try to crack the x86 side of windows, your much better off with a x64 OS. :) let me know if you continue to have trouble with it booting

Hi guys, I have a couple of silly questions: before I even start installing the SP1, is it really necessary, or helpful, or is it pretty much not all that great?
And secondly, my windows is a windows pro copy, is it the same SP1?
And last but not least I’ve been told not to activate the updates, which sounds fair but isn’t there some updates that can come handy, and if so how do we know which ones?
Thanks for the great post by the way and for your answers (in advance).

No worries. Installing SP1 is not absolutely mandatory, however it is recommended, since you never know if a future software program may require it, also for protection. When you say your copy of Windows is Windows Pro, do you mean Windows 7 Professional? If so, then yes it will still work. The people / websites that say do not activate the updates are the slightly paranoid, they say things like “what if Microsoft issues a blackout?” but in reality that will never happen. Now make sure though that you use a loader/crack that blocks certain KB updates that look for non-genuine copies of windows. The SP1 updates provide safety updates making windows more secure and run more reliably, so I would recommend them. If you use Daz’s loader, which can be found in this post, then it will automatically block the KB updates that will annoy you with a popup that says it is not genuine, but even in the small cases where it does, just come back and drop me an email and I will walk you through on how to remove it.

If it freezes it doesn’t sound like a problem with the software, it might be a problem with hardware. When exactly is it freezing on you?

I ran HAL7600 against Win7 Home Premium 64bit after uninstalling KB971033. Later I DL’ed SP1 and got the black desktop screen after 30 days. So I ran Hazar’s RemoveWAT and it eliminated the black desktop but the countdown to activate Win7 started again! Even though my Win7 didn’t come with SP1 I can’t uninstall it. At this stage will running the crack pack change anything? Thanks

You can run Hazar or Daz’s loader without any negative consequences, the reason that people say “you need to uninstall the old loader” is because much older version needed to be uninstalled, it no longer applies you can install Daz AND Hazar loaders simultaneously and your computer will be just fine :)

Exe, I uninstalled/installed Daz’s 2.0.9 loader and it gave me the thumbs up on Win7 Home Prem 64-bit build 7601, but there’s still a “3 days to activate” message in ctrl panel. My question is: what happens after Day 3? Thanks for everything!

Haha, that did sound rather dense, didn’t it? What finally worked was: I uninstalled Daz and Hazar, ran Hal7600 again and presto! it activated. I think one important thing to remember is, if multiple cracks don’t work, be sure to uninstall the last one before you attempt a newer one.

Which copy of win 7 did you download? Does it say “not genuine” in your bottom right corner or does it still say “you have 30~ days to register”?

I have tested it with both hazar and Daz loaders amongst all win7 32 bit and 64bit and it works perfectly, some users (very few) report problems
Afterwards but nothing dramatic, I say yes it is safe to run sp1 and for safety just rerun a loader :)

Try this, right click on “my computer” and Goto properties, when it queries, it still says “not genuine” correct?

Is this a dual boot installation? Did you install sp1 PRIOR to installing a loader? Are you sure that none of the identified KB updates are installed?

sorry I don’t what you mean by dual boot instal, yes I installed SP1 before my aplied loaders, some1 used some kind of crack before me or something or I don’t know actually, I only deduced that from what DAZ told me, but now I tryed DAZ again and it worked but the windows still doesnt turn to genuine >_< , its driving me crazy and this is an emergency, I don't know of the KB updates, where can I check them? I was sure to uncheck the KB updates where it said it would resolve the genuine thing but there was no kind of update of that sort, I know this because on other pc's I found those when updating @_@. help?!

Yes you can turn on automatic updates and if your loader is working now you don’t have to worry about updating it.

Hi, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate. I also did the Remove WAT. I updated and thought all was well but noticed that I got a little flag on the lower right that I had 26 days left to activate. I googled (found you 2nd) and found a website that walks you thru uninstalling the KB971033 file that he said is the culprit. I did, restarted, did an update and went in Windows Update and right clicked to uninstal (hide I think it was)l that file. Windows Update wanted to reinstall it. Did a reboot and the notice is still there with the 26 days. I found your website and followed your prompts went to check and see if it is finding whether it is genuine or not (I don’t have a product key)in the Control Panel. Anyway, it shows that I need to activate it and to enter the product key. I don’t know what to do now. I am using a Dell Latitude D630 if that matters. Thank you so much. Love your website!!

Thanks for stopping by and don’t worry its an easy fix for you! You can either download the ultimate crack pack from here http://failedexe.com/2011/05/20/the-ultimate-crack-pack-is-here/

Or you can download Daz or hazar loaders (cracks) from the web, a google
Search will pop up download links. Run the loader and it will crack your copy of windows making it legitimate.

If somewhere along the way you need help, come back and I’ll walk you through it ;)

      Cheers!

Can someone tell me exactly what i need to do. I have an activated version of the windows 7 64 bit and my loader is version 1.6.4 which I installed last June of 2010. Still works well. I have been running windows updates. I dont even know how to check if mine is genuine or what. I know it is isnt since it is just a crack so please let me know what i have to do. Atleast make it spook that it is genuine. it is still activated with 1.6.4.

If i install that 2.0.9 of DAZ will I have to delete the loader i currently have or just overwrite it by just installing it atomatically? then how do i check if it changed it serial or product key from the old one? will it change ? i dont even know what to do at this point. please someone direct me

Once you install a loader you can install windows updates, if by chance it wasn’t working you would get a popup on the bottom right hand side of the desktop screen that says “this windows is not authentic” or something along those lines, and your desktop wallpaper would be black. You can also check by right clicking “My Computer” and selecting Properties or by pressing the windows key+pause/break button on your keyboard

You can also install a pirated copy of windows on multiple computers using the same serial and still update them as well

Installing using an older loader isn’t bad, if it works it works….BUT some of the older loaders do not automatically block windows activation updates, but even if you accidently download an update and it becomes untracked you can always reapply a new loader, Daz loaders are great I like Hazar as well, there are a bunch of great crackers out there, you can find a link to download the ultimate crack pack here on failedexe.com just use the search bar :)

You don’t have to worry about updates, you can leave it on auto updates as long as you have a loader that was created at least 2 years ago, you do not have to update loader versions under the same condition

When a service pack fails to install it will attempt to revert back to previous conditions, even though the screen upon windows loading may be blank or black, let it sit there for 30min to an hour and see if it eventually loads, if it doesn’t I can always walk you through on how to fix it with alternative methods

    I have the following issue:
My laptop is: DELL N5110, core i5 with 4 GB RAM.

Initially I installed WIN VISTA 32 bit on C drive and then applied crack. – worked fine.
Then I tried to install WIN 7(cracked version) 32 bit in my other partition. worked fine.

Again, when I loaded VISTA desktop, in the “System Properties”, the crack is no longer valid.(I see a message, 15 or 30 days trial).

I would like to use both OS(cracked verison). Please help!!

Don’t panic Anees :) I have mentioned in the past that dual boot systems tend to have problems with loaders and cracks, but don’t worry that doesn’t mean it cannot be done, it just means that you have to use a slightly different method to applying the loader (crack). On Daz’s loader, at the top there is a tab that has Options and Advanced Options, under one of those (sorry I’m on my mac right now) there is an option that says Ignore legacy boot, or Ignore default boot something or other, all you have to do is click that and apply the crack to it, you should have to do this on BOTH the installs. Basically what is happening is that when you install the crack it is “spoofing” the legitimacy of your Windows installation…however Daz and Hazar create the cracks to install to default locations…naturally this is C:\ , when you are on a dual boot system, it does not know that your MBR (master boot record) is now different from the version it expects.

Once you do this, you will have to reboot (so that means you’ll be rebooting twice) then go into Windows Vista, and right click on “My Computer” and select properties, it should take a second then report back that it is authenticated, do the same for Win 7.

Let me know how it turns out!

Hi! I have a problem with my friends notebook, Acer Aspire S5750 Series. After installation of Win 7, everything is good but when I activate Windows with some activator, after restart Win7 won’t to start. It’s just restarting and restarting until I shut it down. I’ve tride with 32 and 64bit versions, with SP1 and without it. I’ve tried to install all drivers, and not to install anything. But it’s all the same. Even system repair or system restore doesn’t help!
Can you please help me? Thanks in advance.

Did you apply the loader before updating? Or did you not update yet? There are many reasons that this can happen, some loaders are set to only install on the C:\ drive, and sometimes if you partition the drive it can lead to problems (or dual boot). Since your saying that you just finished an install and then apply the loader, I am assuming that you have not installed updates and as soon as you apply the loader and it asks you to reboot, that is when it will not re-enter windows?

Which loader are you using? And which copy of Win 7 are you using, I know it’s not a legitimate copy, but where did you download it from?

Which loader are you using? From what you have described the loader is not showing that your copy is genuine, which can lead to install problems with SP1. Before installing SP1 we should make sure that your copy of Windows appears genuine, then install SP1.

Are you getting the message on the bottom right hand side of your screen or is it when you right click on “My Computer” and goto Properties? If it’s on the bottom right hand side of the screen, and you successfully ran the activator, then you may have a windows update installed that should not have been installed. If it’s a brand new install, then go ahead and right click on “My Computer” and select “Properties” and it should disappear when the screen loads up. But it would help to know which version of windows is it, is it a fresh install?

I’m about to buy the parts for and put together a brand new system in a couple of days and I was just wondering if it would be possible to install Win7 Ultimate on it without the computer already having a legit version of Windows on it. In other words, would it be possible to do a completely clean install onto a blank HD with the Daz crack? Thanks!

Yes, it’s simple and you’ll never know the difference. It’s actually the best way to do it. Download win7 (any version) install WITHOUT using a key, always select “ask me later” during the install and once your in windows, apply the Daz or Hazar crack, it will ask you to reboot…soooo reboot. When your back in windows, go ahead and run software update, you’ll be good to go :)

The best way to do this is to have a copy of Win7 on a DvD or USB thumdrive (your computer should be able to boot from USB), install from the DvD or USB and then simply download or use a USB drive with the crack on it. If you have any trouble let me know, and I’ll try to walk you through it.

When you say clean, do you mean “ready to rock without authentication?” if so, then my favorite place is http://thepiratebay.org/ specifically you can download THIS copy, which I can confirm it works well.

You can always try a trial version of Windows 7 although I am not 100% positive it is still available with the release of Windows 8 right around the corner. Try these links:

            http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc442495
            http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/shop/download-windows-7

If you wanted to download it and purchase licenses via phone, you can still download a “pirated” enterprise copy, and just call Microsoft, pay them, and they will give you a serial, I’ve done this personally. I also did this with Microsoft office 2010.

Oh ok, then the best thing for you is to download n-lite (located here) , and use ANY copy of windows, to easily build your own. You can remove any component that you do not wish to use, and install software that you would like included, I’ve used it for years and love it.

Download it directly from Microsoft, strip it of extra processes with n-lite, or download it from thepiratebay, strip-it with n-lite, and you can still apply a legitimate serial/key as long as you don’t download a pre-cracked version. You can always find uncracked enterprise copies on thepiratebay and other torrent sites as well.

I have a win7 with 7loader by orbit. But I can’t install sp1. After I install it, it reboots and goes to black screen after the win logo appears without any HD activity. How do I go about this?

This doesn’t sound like a typical error caused by a loader or cracked version of windows, it sounds like a error on the SP1 update. Try force shutdown on the pc (hold down power for 5 seconds) while it’s loading windows (the little windows logo), the next time you reboot it will give you the safe mode option and Windows should “tell itself” to unapply the SP1 updates.

      Sorry for the delayed response!

If you have used any of the loaders, (Daz, Hazar) then they automatically block the updates that should not be downloaded. I feel extremely safe saying that there is no update that will “brick” your system, if you install an update and your install comes up as “Illegitimate” you can always simply go back and uninstall it, and re-apply the windows loader.

Hey there. I installed W7Ultimate and used daz loader 1.9.2. If I want to update to SP1 do I uninstall the loader, upgrade and then install the loader again? Use the latest loader? Or can i just upgrade without uninstalling the loader and I should be fine? Or then I have to install on top of my original install again? I hope I don’t sound too confusing! lol

Hi Rico, there are several methods to install/update to SP1 and from my personal experience (on many various systems) all of them work fine. You can simply update to SP1, reboot and reinstall (any current) loader again. I’m not saying it’s mandatory to do so, but it doesn’t hurt. There is no need to uninstall the loader. I do know that sometimes in rare cases, even after applying the loader after updating to SP1, the little text on the bottom right of your desktop may start displaying “this copy of Windows is not Genuine”. However oddly enough, if you simply right click on “My Computer” and select “Properties” and wait for the Windows verification to display authenticity status, it will immediately update and no longer say it’s not genuine…it’s odd but sometimes that just happens, and is easily corrected :)

Any idea if this will work with Vista Sp1? I’ve got to fix my dad’s computer, which is genuine, but it’s saying it isn’t, and I haven’t found anything that works yet.
If it doesn’t, do you have a suggestion for where I should go to find a fix for it?
(BTW, the Vista disk came with Sp1, it wasn’t an update)

Rerun Daz loader and when your patching, select “ignore oem partitions” run crack and reboot, if this doesn’t work then make sure you did not accidentally check the boxes for the required blocked KB updates.

    Hey David.

We have loaded after being uncertain for some time, SP1 on a cracked win7 ultimate 32bit system that used the win7 loader 1.6.9 by Daz. It installed no worries on the machine and so far I cant see any issues. This maching also has EVERY single MS update installed. Will keep an eye on it though and see if something happens later on.

    Cheers ;)

Hi Michael, is your windows installation a clean install of win7 or was it an upgrade over an older OS like Vista? If the kb971033 has been uninstalled, make sure tou double check that it didn’t accidentally reinstall by accident, this can happen if auto update is set to “download and install windows updates”, if so uninstall and reattempt. Also when your using the loaders, use the UNINSTALL option that comes in one of the loaders, then reboot, and reinstall it. If your still having trouble I can hop on remotely and help you with it later this evening, with your permission of course!

When i try daz loader 2.0.0 i’m not able to click on the install or unistall buttons, the status section on the loader says ‘modified-unistall other cracks’

Don’t worry about which crack you previously installed, you can install a “loader” (the crack) over your old crack and should not have any problems. :) Let us know how everything turns out!

      Hi Sunny,

Don’t worry about Windows being messed up, in the situation that you accidentally install one of the few “Authentication” updates, you can always uninstall them and re-apply a Windows Loader ( sometimes referred to as a “crack” or “hack” ) , so to answer your question, don’t worry, your still safe, but if I could make a personal recommendation, switch to Firefox or Google Chrome and leave ie9 behind!

Or i should try your posted Activator by Hazar’s.
And should i uninstall the orbit30 crack which i m using right now or overwrite by the activatoru have posted or Daz’s crack ver.200..?

Go ahead and use Daz’s as he recently updated it, you won’t have to uninstall orbit30 it’ll be fine if you just install over it :)

I am aware of the orbit30 however I have not personally tested it so I can’t vouch the safety of any complications arising from updating to SP1, however…. I can say safely that if you update to SP1 , and *if* you do encounter a problem, you’ll easily be able to fix it with hazar or daz’s loaders, which both have an SP1 update, so to answer your question yes you can Update :)

So that activator allows service pack 1 to be installed or does it screw up the activation in windows permanently regardless?

The daz and hazar activators allow you to install SP1 with no problems afterwards. Most of the pirated copies of Win 7 utilized the daz and hazar loaders, since there embedded in the install dvd/cd that you can download from torrent sites, most users just are not aware of it. When you install SP1 sometimes it triggers authentication and you simply need to reinstall the daz and hazar loaders to correct it. But to answer your question simply, yes SP1 is fine to install on a pirated or cracked copy of any Win 7.

    Hi David.

I’m running Win 7 Ultimate 32bit and updated to SP1 the other day. When the “not genuine” notice popped up, I uninstalled it and have been trying various methods to get rid of the popup and the watermark on my desktop but haven’t succeeded. I also tried the method that you have posted up and that also didn’t work for me. Do you have any suggestions?

    Many thanks.

I did some more testing, 32 bit shouldn’t vary from 64 bit, as well as after I tested with different win 7 versions, the loaders /should/ override the update and make the notice disappear. However since it is still popping up for you, you might want to use the other loader, and make sure it’s ran as an administrator, then reboot, if this doesn’t work let me know and I will help you further

      Cheers :)

        It’s me again :)

I’ve tried all the loaders yet nothing has worked. One of the loaders wouldn’t work as it said there was already a crack installed (which is probably from when I used one to remove the security update when I first installed Win7). Any suggestions?

        Many thanks :)

Which loader did you use originally? In my blog (and forgive me for not backlinking it directly because I’m replying from my mobile) there is a post on a necessary update removal, if it is not removed the genuine notification always seems to pop back up. Search my blog for “kb” or “update” and it should pop up, as soon as I’m back on my computer I’ll link it directly if not :)

Hey David! I can’t seem to find the post that you’re talking about. I have removed KB971033 a while ago so I’m sure this instance is because of the recent SP.

The one I used a year ago was RemoveWAT (from here http://www.aboutonlinetips.com/removewat-windows-7-validation-crack/) I’m guessing I need to find a way to remove that first?

I have Win 7 x64 Ultimate, no SP! yet. I can’t even remember which version I used, but it’s been perfect so far. Will that Hazar link above work for me? Maybe you can provide links for all the different versions of Win7. thx

Hi Alex, yes I actually installed this morning. I didn’t notice anything intrusive, no pop ups or updates to Authentication, however keep in mind that there are several different methods that were/are used to thwart Windows Genuine Advantage. I personally have recommended using a loader, there were two I recommended way back when Win7 first dropped. I do know that now there are pre-cracked versions of Win7 on torrent sites available which requires no further work, so depending on which method your using, your results may vary. On the test system that I tried it on, it was using a Loader from Hazar, but Daz’s is a great one as well. I think in the latest revisions they both have inserted the instructions to remove potentially harmful (to a pirate) updates.

Win 7 SP1 RC has expired on my genuine and activated Win 7 Ultimate RTM. Machine shuts off every 2 hours. Cannot uninstall and cannot install RTM over RC. Also cannot afford to reformat and start over. Any advice or any trick or hack that you know of that can save me with this dilemma. Please advise. Thank you.

In most typical situations (non dual boot) , you don’t need to uninstall the loader (the crack), you can install another loader (or the same one) over. If your current loader didnt work, you can try one of two methods:

One is simply to just right click on “My Computer” and wait for the windows authentication to update and sometimes oddly enough it resets and becomes “legit” again.

Alternatively you can install Daz loader or Hazar loader.

If that’s still not working then you will have to uninstall the KB update that updated your windows genuine authentication. This can be done through the control panel under the area, Programs, and then under the tab windows updates

Let me know if you still have trouble :)
